Our website was created so that local
businesses would have a low-cost and effective way to reach the
people of the community. When people are looking in a
directory, they're ready to buy. So our white and yellow pages
directories form the dual core of the business. But we have
also added rotating tile ads to our pages so that businesses can
keep their names in front of future customers.
But unlike some of the large online directories, we also want to
give businesses the chance to advise people of any sales they may be
running. And our yellow pages are more like the pages you'd
find in a print directory, making it easier for customers to find
what they want, and allowing businesses to focus on what's important
to their customers.
As we grow, we will be adding more dynamic content (such as flash
movies and film-like animated gifs) to our site. And when we
start advertising on cable, we will give our advertisers an
opportunity to be part of our cable ad program.
Also, while it is often not cost-effective for small businesses to
establish and maintain a newsletter operation, as we build our
newsletter subscription list, our advertisers will have an
opportunity to reach their customers through our newsletter.
